More Than a Photo: Finding God at the Build Her Retreat

There are moments in life that leave a lasting impact on your heart. The Build Her Retreat was one of those moments for me. It was more than just something I needed; it was a sisterhood where God met us, brought us together, and reminded us we are never alone. I walked in not knowing what to expect, but from the very beginning, the women were so welcoming. There was a calm that made you feel at home. As I watched each woman encourage another and share her love for God, I realized this weekend was about so much more than attending an event; it was about experiencing His presence through community. Behind the camera, through my lens, I was able to help these women see a part of themselves they may not have noticed before. I watched confidence grow, joy overflow, and genuine love shine through their smiles. More than anything, I saw the love of God reflected in each of them. Every click of my camera reminded me that photography isn’t only about preserving memories; it’s about telling stories that matter. It’s about capturing moments of faith, love, strength, and healing that deserve to be remembered. Through my lens, I was able to capture faith and love, to let the light and the love of God shine through every image, creating photographs that reflected not just how these women looked, but something deeper about who they are. Tiffany - God knows exactly what we need and when we need it. I am thankful for the journey He is taking me on and pray that I will do His will. With that God gets all the GLORY!!! I AM SALT, LIGHT & HIS AMBASSADOR.

Charlette - when I requested Tiffany to join us on the retreat, little did I know that her photography would be a catalyst for healing for me. She is able to see beyond all pretense, finding who God created you to be taking away all of the fabrications. It is not being the most beautiful person in the picture, it is about being your own beauty which is different for everyone. Tiffany helps each person to settle in to their God-given beauty which radiates through her lens
